Barclays plans 14-month Accelerated Return Notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Oct. 27 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price Accelerated Return Notes due January 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, up to a capped return of 9% to 13%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
BofA Merrill Lynch is the agent.
The notes will price and settle in November.
