Barclays plans five-year buffered SuperTrack notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, May 15 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered SuperTrack notes due May 31, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.2 to 1.25 times any index gain, with the exact upside leverage to be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will be exposed to any losses beyond 15%.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on May 25 and settle on May 31.

The Cusip number is 06741VT36.
