New Issue: Barclays sells $5.7 million capped PLUS linked to S&P 500

Morgantown, W.Va., April 12 – Barclays Bank plc priced $5.7 million of 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due July 5, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of the index return, subject to a maximum return of 12.35%.
Investors will be fully exposed to any index decline.
Barclays is the agent with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC handling distribution.
