Barclays plans five-year buffered digital plus notes linked to Russell

Chicago, April 11 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered digital plus notes due April 28, 2022 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above its 85% threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the fixed payment of 28% to 30% and the index return up to a maximum return of 50%. The exact digital return will be set at pricing.
If the index falls by more than 15%, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.
Barclays is the agent.
The notes will price on April 25.
The Cusip number is 06741VR61.
