Barclays to price notes on Apple common stock

By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 18 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price notes due February 2018 linked to the common stock of Apple Inc., according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final share price is greater than the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the conditional payment, which is expected to fall between 15% and 19% and will be set at pricing. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the final share price is less than the initial share price.

BofA Merrill Lynch is the agent.

The notes will price and settle in February.
