Barclays to price Super Track Notes linked to Euro Stoxx 50, FTSE/Xinhua China 25

Philadelphia, Dec.18 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price an issue of 0% Super Track Notes due July 24, 2008 linked to the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 and FTSE/Xinhua China 25 indexes, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are expected to price Jan. 19 and settle Jan. 24.

At maturity, investors will receive double any index gain, capped at a return of 34%. Investors will share in any losses.

Barclays Capital will be the underwriter.
