Barclays to price contingent coupon notes linked to Russell 2000
By Jennifer Chiou
New York, March 23 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price contingent coupon notes due April 21, 2021 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will pay a contingent coupon of 1.625% to 1.75% for each quarter that the index closes above the 70% coupon barrier level on the observation date for that quarter.
The payout at maturity will be par unless the index finishes below the 70% barrier level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
The notes (Cusip: 06741USV7) will price on April 17 and settle on April 22.
Barclays is the agent.
