New Issue: Barclays prices $4.87 million capped leveraged buffered notes on MSCI EAFE

New York, Oct. 28 – Barclays Bank plc priced $4,865,000 of 0% capped leveraged buffered index-linked notes due July 13, 2016 tied to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus two times any index gain, up to a maximum payout of $1,195 per $1,000 note.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 12.5% and will lose 1.1429% for each 1% decline beyond 12.5%.
Barclays is the underwriter.
