Barclays plans Super Track notes due 2016 linked to Euro Stoxx 50

Madison, Wis., Aug. 13 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% Super Track notes due Aug. 18, 2016 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus at least 1.6 times any index gain. The exact upside leverage factor will be set at pricing.

Investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Aug. 15 and settle on Aug. 20.

The Cusip number is 06741UHN7.
