Barclays plans two-year SuperTrack notes linked to BHP Billiton

Chicago, July 15 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% SuperTrack notes due July 21, 2016 linked to American Depositary Shares of BHP Billiton Ltd., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.38 times any gain in the price of BHP shares.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on July 16 and settle on July 21.

The Cusip number is 06741UGC2.
