New Issue: Barclays prices $3.15 million notes due 2015 linked to Topix index

New York, April 22 - Barclays Bank plc priced $3.15 million of 0% notes due May 6, 2015 linked to the Topix index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

For each $1,000 principal amount of notes, the payout at maturity will be (a) $1,000 multiplied by (b) one plus the index return multiplied by (c) the adjustment factor, 98.8%.

Because of the adjustment factor, if the index does not increase by at least 1.215%, investors will receive lose some or all of their investment.

Barclays is the underwriter with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC as agent.
