Barclays plans buffered Super Track notes due 2019 tied to S&P 500

New York, Feb. 6 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered Super Track notes due Feb. 28, 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the buffer percentage and will be exposed to any losses beyond the buffer, which is expected to by 18% to 24%.
The notes (Cusip: 06741T5L7) are expected to price on Feb. 25 and settle on Feb. 28.
