New Issue: Barclays prices $1.65 million step-up notes with 2.25% initial rate

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 24 - Barclays Bank plc priced $1.65 million of step-up fixed-rate callable notes due July 28, 2021, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The interest rate is 2.25% in years one through three, 3.25% in years four through six and 5.25% in the last 18 months before maturity. Interest is payable quarterly.
The payout at maturity will be par.
The notes are callable at par on any interest payment date.
