New Issue: Barclays prices $2.02 million leveraged buffered notes on MSCI EAFE

Madison, Wis., Aug. 21 - Barclays Bank plc priced $2.02 million of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Nov. 24, 2015 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 times any gain in the index, up to a maximum payment of $1,237.50 for each $1,000 principal amount. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 12.5% and will lose 1.1429% for every 1% that it declines beyond 12.5%.
