New Issue: Barclays prices $9.1 million capped return enhanced notes on MSCI AC Asia ex Japan

Chicago, April 16 - Barclays Bank plc priced $9.1 million of 0% capped return enhanced notes due April 30, 2014 linked to the MSCI All Country Asia ex Japan index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any index gain, up to a maximum return of 17.2%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
Barclays is the underwriter with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC as the placement agent.
