New Issue: Barclays prices $17.45 million Stars on iShares MSCI EAFE, EM funds

New York, Feb. 26 - Barclays Bank plc priced $17,453,840 of 0% Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities due March 10, 2014 tied to a basket of two equally weighted funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund.

If the basket closes at or above the initial level on the observation dates of Aug. 23, 2013, Nov. 22, 2013 or March 3, 2014, the notes will be called at $10.342, or 3.42%, $10.513, or 5.13%, and $10.684, or 6.84%, respectively.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 5% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline in the basket beyond 5%.

BofA Merrill Lynch is the underwriter.
