New Issue: Barclays prices $13.03 million step-up notes with 3% initial rate

Tacoma, Wash., April 26 - Barclays Bank plc priced $13.03 million of step-up fixed-rate callable notes due April 30, 2019, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate is 3% in years one through four, 3.5% in year five, 4% in year six and 6% in year seven. Interest is payable semiannually.

The payout at maturity will be par.

Beginning April 30, 2014, the notes will be callable at par on any interest payment date.
