New Issue: Barclays prices $138,000 step-up fixed-rate notes with 4% initial rate

San Diego, May 25 - Barclays Bank plc priced $138,000 of step-up fixed-rate notes due May 26, 2031, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The coupon is 4% for the first eight years. It will step up to 4.25% on May 26, 2019, to 4.75% on May 26, 2023, to 5% on May 26, 2027, to 6% on May 26, 2029 and to 8% on May 26, 2030. Interest is payable semiannually.
The payout at maturity will be par.
