Barclays plans buffered Super Track notes linked to iShares MSCI EM

Chicago, April 26 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered Super Track notes due May 22, 2013 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any fund gain, up to a maximum return of 21.7% to 29.7%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the shares fall by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.

The notes will price on May 17 and settle on May 20.
