New Issue: Barclays prices $1.5 million 10-year step-up notes with 4% initial rate

Tacoma, Wash., March 23 - Barclays Bank plc priced $1.5 million of step-up fixed-rate notes due March 24, 2021, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The interest rate is 4% for years one through five, 4.25% for years six through eight, 5.5% for year nine and 7% for year 10. Interest is payable semiannually.
The payout at maturity will be par.
