New Issue: Barclays prices $2.1 million 10-year step-up notes with 4% initial rate

Chicago, March 16 - Barclays Bank plc priced $2.1 million of step-up fixed-rate notes due March 17, 2021, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The coupon is 4% for the first four years. After that, the rate will be 4.25% until March 17, 2017, 4.5% until March 17, 2019, 5.5% until March 17, 2020 and then 7% until maturity. Interest is payable semiannually.
The payout at maturity will be par.
