New Issue: Barclays prices $8 million floored floating-rate notes with 2.4% floor

San Diego, Oct. 3 - Barclays Bank plc priced $8 million of floored floating-rate notes due Aug. 1, 2014, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate will be Libor plus 150 basis points, subject to a minimum interest rate of 2.4%. Interest is payable quarterly.

The payout at maturity will be par.
