Philadelphia, Aug. 27 - Barclays Bank plc priced $17.43 million of 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Aug. 29, 2012 based on the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par of $10.00 plus double any fund gain, up to a maximum payout of $13.06 per note.
Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer. Investors will receive a minimum payment of at least $1.00 per par.
