Barclays plans 13-month buffered Super Track notes linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund

Tacoma, Wash., July 28 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered Super Track notes due Sept. 29, 2011 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any fund gain, subject to a maximum return of 11% to 15.5% that will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the fund declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for each 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
The notes (Cusip: 06740PJG2) will price Aug. 26 and settle Aug. 31.
