Barclays plans Knock-In Super Track Notes on iShares MSCI EM fund

By Jennifer Chiou

New York, March 18 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% Knock-In Super Track Notes due April 10, 2015 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Market index fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The knock-in barrier will be 50% of the initial level.

If the index closes above the initial level, investors will receive par plus 100% to 115% of the gain, with the exact rate to be set at pricing.

If the index remains at or above the knock-in barrier during the life of the notes and finishes at or below the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par.

Investors will be exposed to any index decline if the index ever falls below the knock-in barrier.

The notes are expected to price on April 6 and settle on April 9.

Barclays Capital Inc. is the agent.
