Barclays to sell Super Track notes on iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Chicago, Feb. 5 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% Super Track notes due Aug. 26, 2011 based on the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any fund gain, up to a maximum return of 28.2% to 31.7%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

The notes will price on Feb. 23 and settle on Feb. 26.
