New York, Dec. 22 - Barclays Bank plc priced $288,000 of callable step-up fixed-rate notes due Dec. 23, 2025, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The interest rate is 4.5% for years one through five, 5.125% for years six through 10, 6% for years 11 through 13 and 8.5% up to maturity. Interest is payable semiannually.
The payout at maturity will be par.
Beginning Dec. 23, 2011, the notes will be callable at par on any interest payment date.
