Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 21 - Barclays Bank plc priced $4.34 million of step-up fixed-rate callable notes due Dec. 23, 2016, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The interest rate is 3.05% for the first two years, 3.25% for the third and fourth years, 4.25% for the fifth year and 6% for the sixth year. Interest is payable semiannually.
The payout at maturity will be par.
Beginning Dec. 23, 2011, the notes are callable at par on any interest payment date.
