Barclays plans buffered Super Track notes linked to Dow Jones - UBS Commodity index

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 20 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered Super Track notes due May 14, 2013 linked to the Dow Jones - UBS Commodity index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any increase in the index, subject to a maximum return of 15% to 25% that will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 15%.
The notes (Cusip 06740P2Y1) will price Nov. 9 and settle Nov. 15.
