Barclays to price buffered Super Track digital notes linked to Russell 2000

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 6 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered Super Track digital notes due April 30, 2012 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus a fixed payment that is expected to be 15% to 19.5% and will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
The notes (Cusip 06740PTM8) will price Oct. 26 and settle Oct. 29.
