Philadelphia, Dec. 30 - Barclays Bank plc priced $1.5 million of 0% Buffered SuperTrack notes due June 30, 2011 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the final fund level is at least the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus triple any gain on the fund, up to a maximum return of 10.9%.
The payout will be par if the fund declines by up to 15%. Investors will lose 1% for each 1% the basket declines beyond 15%.
