Chicago, Dec. 22 - Barclays Bank plc priced another $1.79 million of floating-rate notes due Dec. 24, 2014 linked to the Consumer Price Index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
This brings the total issue to $2.72 million. Barclays priced $933,000 of the notes on Dec. 10.
The interest rate is fixed at 2.5% for the year first. Beginning Dec. 24, 2010, the interest rate equals 1.5 times the year-over-year change in the index, subject to a floor of zero and cap of 7% in each interest period.
Interest is payable monthly.
The payout at maturity will be par.
