Barclays to price 0% return enhanced notes linked to S&P 500

New York, Sept. 7 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% return enhanced notes due Sept. 26, 2008 linked to the S&P 500 index via JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA and JPMorgan Securities Inc., according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are expected to price on Sept. 14 and settle on Sept. 19.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any increase in the index level, capped at a maximum return of 18.06%.

Investors will share in any losses.
