Barclays moves to redeem all 7.75% CoCo securities on Sept. 15

Lexington, Ky., July 27 – Barclays Bank plc posted a notice of redemption and cancellation for holders of its $2.5 billion 7.75% fixed-rate resetting perpetual subordinated contingent convertible securities (ISIN: US06738EBA29).

The full redemption will take place on Sept. 15.

The redemption amount will be par plus accrued interest from June 15.

The notes will be delisted and canceled shortly after the redemption.

The notes were originally issued on Aug. 14, 2018.
