New Issue: Barclays prices $1 million 16.5% autocallable fixed-coupon notes on Tesla

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 27 – Barclays Bank plc priced $1 million of autocallable fixed-coupon notes due Dec. 26, 2024 linked to the common stock of Tesla, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The interest rate will be 16.5% per year and will be payable monthly.
The notes will be automatically called at par if stock closes at or above its initial level on a quarterly call date after six months.
If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par unless the stock closes below its barrier level, 50% of its initial level, in which case the payout will be 72.56894 shares with the fractional amount in cash or cash at the issuer’s option.
