Barclays Bank resumes iPath ETN issuance post-rescission offer

Chicago, Sept. 19 – Barclays Bank plc announced the resumption of further issuances and sales of certain iPath exchange-traded notes, according to a press release.

Further issuances and sales will start again at the open of trading on Sept. 26.

The issuance and sales of the ETNs are now allowed as the rescission offer has been completed.

The ETNS mentioned in the press release are the:

• iPath Series B S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN (NYSE Arca: VXX; Cusip: 06747R477);

• iPath Pure Beta Crude Oil ETN (NYSE Arca: OIL; Cusip: 06740P221);

• Pacer iPath Gold Trendpilot ETN (NYSE Arca: PBUG; Cusip: 06747T382);

• iPath Series B Bloomberg Natural Gas Subindex Total Return ETN (NYSE Arca: GAZ; Cusip: 06745T368);

• iPath Series B Carbon ETN (NYSE Arca: GRN; Cusip: 06747C322); and

• iPath Series B Bloomberg Energy Subindex Total Return ETN (NYSE Arca: JJE; Cusip: 06746P530).

The bank cautions that the reopening may influence the current trading prices of the ETNs.
