New Issue: Barclays prices $2 million capped Accelerated Return Notes linked to S&P 500

Buffalo, N.Y., Aug. 25 – Barclays Bank plc priced $2 million of 0% capped Accelerated Return Notes due Aug. 20, 2027 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

At maturity, if the index return is greater than or equal to 86%, the payout will be par plus 161.64%.

If the index gain is less than 86% but greater than or equal to 24%, the payout at maturity will be par plus 24% plus 2.22 times the gain above 24%.

If the index finishes flat or gains up to 24%, the payout will be par plus the return of the index.

Investors will be fully exposed to any index decline.
