JPMorgan plans 0% return enhanced notes linked to Russell 2000 for Barclays

New York, Jan. 12 - JPMorgan Securities, Inc. plans to arrange 0% buffered return enhanced notes due Jan. 31, 2008 linked to the Russell 2000 index for issuer Barclays Bank plc, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any positive return on the index up to a maximum of 20.73%.

Investors will share in any losses.

The return on the index will be calculated as the average of the index's level on Jan. 22, Jan.23, Jan. 24, Jan. 25 and Jan. 28, 2008.

The notes will price on Jan. 19 and settle on Jan. 24.
