New Issue: Barclays prices $20.07 million autocallable fixed-coupon notes on S&P 500 index

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 12 – Barclays Bank plc priced $20.07 million of 3.75% autocallable fixed-coupon notes due Jan. 11, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest will be payable monthly.

The notes will be automatically called at par if the index closes at or above its initial level on any monthly call date after six months.

If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par unless the index finishes below 50% of its initial level, in which cases investors will lose 1% for each 1% of the index below the initial value.
