New Issue: Barclays sells $500,000 notes linked to three stocks
By Wendy Van Sickle
Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 22 – Barclays Bank plc priced $500,000 of notes due Oct. 14, 2021 linked to the worst performing of the stocks of Intel Corp., PayPal Holdings, Inc. and Peloton Interactive, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annualized rate of 24.5% if each stock closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 70% of its initial share price, on the valuation date for that quarter.
If each stock finishes at or above its final barrier level, 70% of its initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par plus the coupon. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the least-performing stock.
