Barclays to price phoenix autocallable notes linked to Truist

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., July 17 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price phoenix autocallable notes Jan. 26, 2022 linked to the common stock of Truist Financial Corp., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent monthly coupon at an annual rate of 11% if the stock closes at or above its 60% coupon barrier on a related observation date.

After three months, the notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if the stock closes at or above 80% of its initial level on any monthly observation date other than the final one.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any coupon due unless the stock finishes below 50% of its initial value, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the stock’s decline.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on July 21.

The Cusip number is 06741WJE1.
