Barclays Bank to price seven-year CDs linked to S&P 500 index

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Jan. 9 – Barclays Bank Delaware plans to price 0% certificates of deposit due Jan. 28, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a term sheet.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, subject to a maximum return of 35% to 40% that will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the index return is negative.

Barclays is the agent.

The CDs (Cusip: 06740A3X5) will price Jan. 26 and settle Jan. 29.
