Moody's alters Columbia Pipeline view to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed Columbia Pipeline Group, Inc.’s A3 senior unsecured rating and changed the outlook to stable from negative.

"The rating affirmation and change in outlook to stable from negative reflect a credit-supportive rate case settlement that we expect will be approved by the FERC," said Gavin MacFarlane, a Moody’s vice president and senior credit officer, in a press release.

"As a result, we project the company's FFO to debt to stabilize in the 30-35% range, albeit well below the 105% level of 31 December 2020, but consistent with the company's current A3 rating," MacFarlane added.
