Loomis Sayles adds Scott Service to two international bond funds

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Nov. 26 – Loomis Sayles Funds I announced it has added Scott M. Service as a portfolio manager to the Loomis Sayles Global Bond Fund.

Service has also joined the Loomis Sayles International Bond Fund, a series of Loomis Sayles Funds II.

The appointments, effective Dec. 1, were announced in separate 497 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Both funds invest primarily in investment-grade, fixed-income securities, with the global bond investing in securities worldwide, while the international fund invests in securities of issuers located outside of the United States.

Boston-based Loomis, Sayles & Co., LP serves as the investment adviser to the funds.
