New York, Sept. 27 - Banro Corp. said it has priced a C$13 million non-brokered private placement.
The company plans to sell 2 million shares at C$6.50 each to Actis Capital LLP.
Proceeds from the offering will be used to accelerate exploration on the company's gold projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The offering is expected to close in the next two weeks, according to a statement from Banro.
Based in Toronto, Banro is a gold exploration company.
