Knoxville, Tenn., March 24 – Scatec Solar ASA said it completed a NOK 379.89 million “significantly oversubscribed” private placement of stock. The deal was conducted by bookrunners ABG Sundal Collier ASA, Carnegie AS and Nordea Bank AB (publ), filial i Norge.
The company sold 9.38 million shares at NOK 40.50 per share.
The issue took place through an accelerated bookbuilding process after close of markets on March 23. The placement attracted interest from existing shareholders as well as new institutional investors and was significantly oversubscribed, according to a press release.
Proceeds will be used for the equity portion of investments in backlog and pipeline projects on top of the company's current self-funded growth capacity.
