Poland’s Kompania Weglowa sets talk in 9% area for five-year notes

Atlanta, Nov. 4 – Poland’s Kompania Weglowa SA set initial talk in the 9% area for a dollar-denominated offering of benchmark-sized notes due in five years (B1/B+/), a market source said.

Barclays, BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

The issuer is a coal mining company based in Katowice, Poland.
