Tree Line Capital Partners starts lower middle-market lending platform

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, Oct. 20 – Tree Line Capital Partners said it has partnered with Enhanced Capital to launch a lower middle-market direct lending platform for businesses with EBITDA of $2 million to $20 million.

Tree Line will be part of the Enhanced Capital family of funds, led by founding partners Tom Quimby and Jon Schroeder, according to a company press release.

Tree Line Capital Partners aims to offer term loans to businesses that would otherwise lack committed financing partners, because of commercial bank consolidation over the past 20 years, the release said.

Tree Line Capital Partners is a San Francisco-based asset management firm focused on direct lending to the lower middle market.
