Thaicom to issue up to 4.55 billion baht of 4.28%, 4.68% debentures

Norfolk, Va., Sept. 29 – Thaicom PCL’s board of directors approved the issuance of up to 4.55 million units, or up to 4.55 billion baht, of debentures, according to a press release.

The debentures will be issued in two tranches at an offering price of 1,000 baht per 1 unit.

Tranche 1 has a five-year term and an interest rate of 4.28%, and tranches 2 has a seven-year term with an interest rate of 4.68%.

The debentures are being offered Monday through Wednesday.

Proceeds will be used to repay a loan of Thaicom 7 Satellite Project and invest in Thaicom 8 Satellite Project.

Thaicom is a Nonthaburi, Thailand-based communications company.
