S&P gives BBB- to AerCap notes

S&P said it assigned its BBB- issue-level rating to the proposed senior unsecured notes issued by AerCap Holdings NV's wholly owned subsidiaries AerCap Ireland Capital DAC and AerCap Global Aviation Trust. The notes are guaranteed by AerCap Holdings and various AerCap subsidiaries.

The companies will use the proceeds from this issuance for general corporate purposes, including to acquire aircraft and repay their debt, S&P said in a news release.
